About this Project

The mission for the renovation of ACASA, a specialized clinic focused on the treatment of alcoholism and substance abuse, was to create a therapeutic, safe, and dignified environment that supports recovery and mental wellness. The Creation of distinct zones for individual counseling, physician/exam room, waiting areas, and staff support improve flow and confidentiality. The renewed ACASA clinic now stands as a model for compassionate, evidence-based design in behavioral health care. The environment plays an active role in supporting patient recovery and staff resilience, demonstrating how thoughtful architecture can contribute to better clinical outcomes and holistic healing.
