Lopatcong Municipal Park

About this Project

In Lopatcong, New Jersey, the local municipal park was in need of major renovations. The buildings were designed as a multi-functional community spaces that integrate seamlessly into its natural surroundings. The rustic facilities provide amenities for both casual parkgoers and organized community events. The buildings includes restrooms, a visitor information center, a multipurpose room, covered outdoor seating, concessions, storage for park equipment, and is ADA-compliant throughout. Natural lighting, ventilation, and open sightlines were key design principles to promote safety, sustainability, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Role:

Architectural Designer 

Tasks:

– Developed the spatial relationship between the Municipal pool, multi-use community building, and surrounding park landscape

– Designed the masterplan layout of the park and developed 3D visuals for clientele review supervised by Senior Project Manager
